I am addicted to how I dress like, even though I don’t spend the world on expensive clothes. I like to wear what makes me confident, beautiful and what emphasizes my body shape.

feathered necklace, pastels outfit blog, bloggeri din bacau

I’m so crazy about pastel colours and I’ve just discovered that I actually have clothes like this  , which could be mixed in a very chic way. My outfit is based on light colours. That’s why,  I chose a light coral maxi skirt, light turquoise blouse and a vintage bag.  The icing on the cake is, for sure, the feathered necklace, which is from Stradivarius. This is the second time when I’m wearing it, because it isn’t that easy to match. I suppose this is a boho-chic outfit, because it has all the details, which could categorize my look in this style. Pastels make you feel simply beautiful!

Have a nice weekend!

I am about to have a short trip to Neos Marmaras. I am finally escape from this resort and I’m discovering new places. My internet and time is limited, because I came here to enjoy these wonderful summer days , so I will let you to admire the next photos. Regarding my look, I preferred something an asymmetrical loose blouse, because it’s not pleasant to wear well-fitted clothes during summer, which stick to your skin and you can barely breath in them. The snapback Read more

I can’t believe that I’m on holiday and I’m still complaining about the spare time. This summer isn’t exactly what I expected and this is because I only want the very best.  It’s a ceaseless fight between spending time with my relatives and hanging out  with friends, but I’m used to it.  I wanted to go to the Black Sea for a weekend, but it seems that I will stick with the plan of going to Greece.

I decided to have a photoshoot on Saturday, july 13th, not realizing that is the 13th and (if you’re superstitious) that’s a day full of bad luck. Unfortunately, that day proved to be unforgettable, in a bad way: my friend’s coffee stolen by a homeless child, spilled wine on my skirt and broken phone, but life goes on. :).

Have a wonderful day!

It’s 8 am in the morning. My dad wakes me up  and passes me the phone to talk with my godfather. I didn’t even know how to react. I had  a sleepy voice and my eyes weren’t opened because probably I was still dreaming. I had thanked for the birthday wishes before  falling asleep again. Then, I decided to get off the bed and to enjoy the day as I deserve. When I was opening the door, I was hit by a small colorful bunch of flowers. I don’t need a bunch of 20 roses, which then has to be shared  on every social page in order to show off. I truly believe in   Read more

It has been long time since I didn’t write, so let me keep you abreast of the latest news. I went to Hamburg with my parents because a friend was searching to buy a car. I had thought that 2 hours will be enough to solve  his problem, but we  were caught into many traps. We realised that Germany isn’t the same way as it was many years ago. All begings with immigrants from Turkey, Siria, etc, who aren’t trust-worthy when you have to choose a car. I couldn’t take many photos because the weather was very naughty, so that I didn’t risk to break my camera. I’m home and it feels incredibly relaxing, but Read more

I’ve finally been to Vejle, or Las Vejle.  I didn’t have the need to travel to other cities when I was living in my hometown, Bacau .  Anyhow, Denmark and this kind of independence  are changing me a lot.

This time we had the purpose of finally checking the famous waves shape bulding and go shopping for a while.  I was again with my friend from Poland, who is always embracing my spontaneous and crazy ideas. We had travelled by train and we were in the middle of nowhere by the time we got there. We started to stop people on the street and ask them for directions, in order to get to those buildings and the harbour. The sun was strongly burning our skin and we were searching for places to hide. Who knew that in a couple of hours everything would turn upside down?  The weather had changed, while we were hypnotized by clothes, accessories, shoes and handsome Danish men. I needed the seventh pair of shorts, but I couldn’t find something nice, so I bought instead a swimsuit, tops, pink shorts, flats, sandals, accessories and so on. My friend and I went back home at 6 o’clock.

I really enjoyed being there and hopefully I will go one more time before moving to Lyon ( HAHA, good joke ! Unfortunately, that didn’t happen because I am a coward! )

Ps: I’m starting to feel more and more wistful, but all for the best!

Yellow is for sure my colour and this party was insane. I felt like in Ibiza. What else could I add more?  We didn’t have music, but we had a lot of fun thanks to playing volleyball,  warming all around bonfire, jumping into the water or complaining that is too cold, but a drink more could be the solution. I think this is the easiest way to organize a party, because there’s a crowd of people, who are willing to get to know other people and enjoy being there. It was definitely a blast. I was there for more than 12 hours, starting at 3 pm and I was acting as a photographer, because as you can see I took plenty of photos ( around two thousands).  I got to know tens of people, because you know how popular you can become by owning a camera and obviously, wearing a tricky top. The hardest part came in the morning when I had to wake up early, in order to go and see ‘Hangover 3’  with DSR. I was lacking of energy, so I couldn’t pay too much attention. Moreover, It isn’t the movie wasn’t good enough, comparing to my high expectations, because I was half asleep with the blanket on and  trying to recover from such a mad night.

Hello !  I played bowling for the first time and I was a disaster.  I broke two nails ,because I wasn’t holding the ball properly, but I got 3 bowling strikes. We were ten people, so we divided into two teams.  It’s nice to play bowling, but it didn’t impress me so much.  At least, I could entertain my friends with my left-handedness. After, we were so hungry that we decided to eat a pizza and go to the harbour. I felt very comfortable like that and I could have showed my tanned skin. The velvet shorts were very big 2 years ago and now they couldn’t be more fit.  The t-shirt is from ONLY.

This crap called ‘danish weather’  is going crazy and I’m losing my temper. It’s basically raining with cats and dogs 🙂 . I come back from school because I had solved some problems with my Erasmus learning agreement. I thought that I will easily give up, but I was aware of that saying, which says: You can’t call it a battle unless you are struggling until the end and believe in it’ . I’ve been used to take things for granted and lose my interest for achieving something. It’s easier to pass the responsibility and let the others  do your task, but it brings a bigger fulfilment when you put a lot of effort into it.

Enough with my  philosophy. Let’s get a closer look to my outfit. The shirt was bought from London and I totally adore it. One disadvantage is that those spangles aren’t well fixed and I should sew them. I have a crush on green clothes and I’m thinking that my next swimsuit will be green ( emerald) as well.

This semester came almost to an end and  my university is throwing a party on each semester, as I’ve informed you before. See previous post about Army Party http://glamthug.com/2012/11/18/i-need-a-soldier/ .  DSR was in charge of everything. On their facebook page was created a poll with 3  themes: Moulin Rouge, Begger and I can’t remember the last one. Anyway, people have voted for the first one, which proved to be the perfect decision.  It was very nice organised and we had some few dancing moments held by Hip-Hop and Salsa team.

!!!  If they they had played musical songs I would have appreciated much more. It’s difficult to satisfy everyone, and probably not so many people would have enjoyed that. Anyway, that could have been another opportunity to get us more into the theme.

The students were dressed according to the dress-code: suit and tie/bow tie for men and …here comes the delightful part and it’s obvious about women. The significance of Moulin Rouge involves passion and of course red, once I have mentioned the precedent one. Girls were looking provocative from head to the toes. The hair was curly or braided and decorated with an abundance of accessories such as hats,  sequins, different feathers and small veils.

Then, you have two ways to choose what to wear. On one hand, you could opt for a sexy style by wearing a velvet dress ( like I wanted to) or be more burlesque with a corset, suspender hosiery and high heels.

On the other hand, you could choose somehow the androgynous style, which lies in a white blouse, bow tie, tail coat and shorts. I made my decision on last minute thanks to a friend.I was desperate to find what to wear and I had been searching the perfect costume for several days, but it was only misfortune. I wanted to borrow a bow tie, but then I remembered about my hair clip from H&M.

The party ended at 2 o’clock and then we had moved to an after party in the campus, until police came. They were coming for more that 3 times, because they didn’t know how to handle the noise, but then they found a solution.

I will upload later more photos from the party!

Stay tuned and enjoy your Sunday 🙂

Thanks Juan ( https://www.facebook.com/juan.morales.75839?fref=ts ) for the last photos!

The idea of choosing what to wear was totally different. I wanted to be a pin-up girl in that night, but  bad luck because of  the lack of  time.  I wanted to curl my hair  and wear a chic dress, but most probably I will do it next time.  I had bought a curling iron when I was in Amsterdam and I didn’t have time to see how it works. So, I wing it and  instead of being a pin-up girl, I became a hipster girl, as my best friend claimed. Some of the students threw a party in campus, which was called ‘Chronological party’ and the dress code should have been inspired by 60’s, 70’s, 80’s.  I was wearing a lousy shirt from Primark , which was bought by mistake at an extra-size.  The story is really tricky, because it was written 38 on the hanger. Few days later, I had tried it on and I realised that it was 46, which is quite bigger.  I thought that I should get rid of it, but I knew how to handle the sad situation. I’m proud of my gaffe, because it looks so DAMN good as it is. I had a crush 2 months ago. Don’t panic! I had a crush on striped jeans before and luckily I found some on sales from Sisters Point http://www.sisters-point.com) . Unfortunately, the jeans are blue and white and this makes them a little bit harder to mix. This is the first time when I wear these jeans, the necklace ( H&M) and the shirt.Anyway,  the sneakers from New Look are already well-known and it’s useless to add something more about them. I just need to have guts and throw them in the washing machine, because they are screaming to be clean again.
