Who said that dots and plaids are a forbidden mixture?-No one, especially that winter 2014 is advising us to mix with no fear. I am trying to do my homework and search for another inspiration of this kind, beside mine. Guess what? It looks daring and playful. The most frequent combination is to layer a sweater over a shirt. Take a look on the next photos or just google it. Curious about from where do I have these eclectic-electric boots? Click ‘More’to find out.

Valletta is one of the best preserved fortified cities and the smallest capital in the EU. It is situated between 2 deep harbours and Valletta’s buildings date from 16th century. Unfortunately, the air raids from the Second World War had a huge impact on this capital.
Tourism and trade play a vital role for Maltese people and that’s why there are many events organized every weekend. During the day, the city is full of life and many anonymous artists are trying to entertain people who are passing by.
Nevertheless, the capital of Malta is truly romantic by offering Read more
Opting for Malta is due either to its beaches and bays either the tangled history.
It was too sunny not to sunbathe and plenty of sandy, stony beaches were waiting for us. I was already getting tired of St Julian’s beach so we had finally picked St. Paul’s Bay, but we started off on the wrong foot. We took the correct bus number, but it was heading right in the opposite way. Arriving in Sliema was both good and bad. Before going to check the shops, we gathered info about one day cruise to Blue Lagoon and Gozo, which are a must to visit. We got a pretty good deal for 60 euros of 2 tickets + another one as a bonus with tour harbours from Michael. Later, I will tell you where the bad part occurred. Despite of the sunny weather, we decided to spend few ‘minutes’ in shops. After Sliema left us almost broke, we took the challenge further and instead of stopping at the right bus stop in St. Paul, we continued. Looking on the map, my hope was back.
‘ We have 3 more beaches ahead: Mellieha, the closest one then, Armier and Golden Bay.’
We were way too tired, impatient and hungry to make it to Golden Bay, because we spent an hour in bus.
By the time we got there, we had desperately to find a place tohave lunch. Baia Beach Club looked very appealing and in fact, we didn’t have another option. We both had a good meal of sea food pasta or chicken breast with mushroom sauce. In spite of being hungry, we didn’t care too much about that because the view was astounding.
‘We need to take a photo together!’
Problem solved. ‘ Sorry can you take 1-2-3…photos of us?It’s not difficult. Don’t get scared of the camera. Thank you’
Don’t expect to find professional photos of me from this trip. Dragos isn’t trained yet in what the art of photography, concernes
Eh, he looks like he just jumped from one of those 2 boats. Haha
The sun was too kind with us , so we ended in falling asleep on the beach to realize that it was getting dark and empty. We crossed the street to wait for the bus, but nothing was coming. We started to freak out or I should stick only to my mood, because Dragos was calm as never. Then, we were thinking of the other options: rent a car, call a taxi, hitch-hiking or the best of the best sleep on the beach. I was somehow excited for another adventurous experience but on the same time I was dreaming on a warm shower and dinner. Suddenly, a bus was getting closer and closer to us, but meanwhile I was desperately waving to the driver, he didn’t even glance. That bus was too full. We were almost hopeless and my stressing mood was slowly affecting my boyfriend too. Luckily, after 20 minutes another bus came that was actually in the last shift, so we were close enough to sleep there, somewhere.
