Coming back to Romania after a stressful exam period was more than a delight. I spent the second winter holiday following my desires: trying to discover new places with the ones I enjoy spending time with. Oh yeah… if that makes you think that I was oversleeping each morning, you are totally wrong. In fact, I wanted to take advantage of each day by helping mom in different activities or my boyfriend in searching for a flat. However, beside casual evenings in my hometown, we managed to make a quick getaway to Piatra Neamt and later to Poiana Brasov. Read more
The last month of 2014 was crowded, a bit stressful in what the exams are concerned, but most of all meaningful because I spent it with the people I love the most. Oh yeah…and tons of traditional food. Unfortunately, I couldn’t enjoy snow on Christmas days, but the real winter atmosphere came later. The summary of December 2014 is showed in the next photos by starting with the day before leaving to Romania and finishing with New Year’s Eve.
I had an amazing holiday and I am so blessed that I am currently spending again the holiday after exams in Romania.

Who said that dots and plaids are a forbidden mixture?-No one, especially that winter 2014 is advising us to mix with no fear. I am trying to do my homework and search for another inspiration of this kind, beside mine. Guess what? It looks daring and playful. The most frequent combination is to layer a sweater over a shirt. Take a look on the next photos or just google it. Curious about from where do I have these eclectic-electric boots? Click ‘More’to find out.
Valletta is one of the best preserved fortified cities and the smallest capital in the EU. It is situated between 2 deep harbours and Valletta’s buildings date from 16th century. Unfortunately, the air raids from the Second World War had a huge impact on this capital.
Tourism and trade play a vital role for Maltese people and that’s why there are many events organized every weekend. During the day, the city is full of life and many anonymous artists are trying to entertain people who are passing by.
Nevertheless, the capital of Malta is truly romantic by offering Read more
Opting for Malta is due either to its beaches and bays either the tangled history.
It was too sunny not to sunbathe and plenty of sandy, stony beaches were waiting for us. I was already getting tired of St Julian’s beach so we had finally picked St. Paul’s Bay, but we started off on the wrong foot. We took the correct bus number, but it was heading right in the opposite way. Arriving in Sliema was both good and bad. Before going to check the shops, we gathered info about one day cruise to Blue Lagoon and Gozo, which are a must to visit. We got a pretty good deal for 60 euros of 2 tickets + another one as a bonus with tour harbours from Michael. Later, I will tell you where the bad part occurred. Despite of the sunny weather, we decided to spend few ‘minutes’ in shops. After Sliema left us almost broke, we took the challenge further and instead of stopping at the right bus stop in St. Paul, we continued. Looking on the map, my hope was back.
‘ We have 3 more beaches ahead: Mellieha, the closest one then, Armier and Golden Bay.’
We were way too tired, impatient and hungry to make it to Golden Bay, because we spent an hour in bus.
By the time we got there, we had desperately to find a place tohave lunch. Baia Beach Club looked very appealing and in fact, we didn’t have another option. We both had a good meal of sea food pasta or chicken breast with mushroom sauce. In spite of being hungry, we didn’t care too much about that because the view was astounding.
‘We need to take a photo together!’
Problem solved. ‘ Sorry can you take 1-2-3…photos of us?It’s not difficult. Don’t get scared of the camera. Thank you’
Don’t expect to find professional photos of me from this trip. Dragos isn’t trained yet in what the art of photography, concernes
Eh, he looks like he just jumped from one of those 2 boats. Haha
The sun was too kind with us , so we ended in falling asleep on the beach to realize that it was getting dark and empty. We crossed the street to wait for the bus, but nothing was coming. We started to freak out or I should stick only to my mood, because Dragos was calm as never. Then, we were thinking of the other options: rent a car, call a taxi, hitch-hiking or the best of the best sleep on the beach. I was somehow excited for another adventurous experience but on the same time I was dreaming on a warm shower and dinner. Suddenly, a bus was getting closer and closer to us, but meanwhile I was desperately waving to the driver, he didn’t even glance. That bus was too full. We were almost hopeless and my stressing mood was slowly affecting my boyfriend too. Luckily, after 20 minutes another bus came that was actually in the last shift, so we were close enough to sleep there, somewhere.
Meanwhile you may be mesmerized by the fact that winter is coming, as I can see the Facebook photos from Romania, I will reveal my holiday in Malta, where sun is still working hard to satisfy the tourists.
As soon as I landed there, the heat hit me together with the amalgam of feelings of meeting my boyfriend. The flight was enjoyable, especially because I had window seats, a tasty breakfast offered by the airline company and plenty of time to spend in the duty-free shops. Having heard that Frankfurt airport is huge, I became scared of the thought that I might miss the flight. Obviously, I didn’t let that to occur.
When I walked out the arrival door, my eyes were desperately searching for him in the crowd, but he was buying a coffee for me, instead of flowers. My boyfriend arrived 2 hours earlier than me, so he got everything set up, in what reaching the final destination concerned. We took the crappy X2 bus, without AC and luckily, I was inspired enough to stuff the sweater and scarf into my luggage, because those 30 degrees were making me feel like an Arabic woman. Not only did we visit half of Malta by bus for over 45 minutes, but we also had difficulties in finding the hotel. We had 2 hotel names on the booking, so we firstly checked-in at Blue Sea St George, which was the wrong one as there were 4 beds and almost no sea view. We were headed to the right one, La Valette, where the conditions were slightly better, but kinda the same sea view and additional pool view, which wasn’t necessary at all. The room was big enough and the other details matched people’s reviews: ‘ You get what you pay for’.
Don’t leave me. There are 6 more days with ups and downs in Malta.See ya!

Thinking about BEP’s song she answered : ‘Ok, meet me halfway.’
For days and nights, they tried to find the dream destination, but none seemed to match their view.
It was difficult to decide whether they should go to a big noisy city or a chilly sunny one.The questions were : ‘ To visit?’ or ‘To relax?’. What can we choose?
‘What do you think about Venice, Rome or Paris? Yeah, Italy or Spain could be a great idea. The food is incredibly delicious, but…’ Read more

You may think of the 4 th of July as a day that represents the Declaration of Independence, but allow me to add something more special such as my birthday. Moreover, I became legal anywhere in the world, so I celebrated the day in a really nice manner: a barbecue at the pool with my parents and few clubs later on, where they also joined me. We planned a one day cruise on the 2nd day of July, as the sky was bright and the sun was prepared to burn my skin. The ticket costed only 17 euros, because we got a small discount of 8 euros, which didn’t bother us at all, considering that other agencies were offering the same package at higher prices. We had the pleasure to do some sightseeing in many places such as: Tivat, Herceg Novi, Zanjice, The lady of the rocks, Kotor and back to Tivat. Mostly all of them Read more
Not far from Budva, with a boat ride for only 5 euros ticket, you can get tanned in Hawaii. Hawaii or Sveti Nikolaj is an island very close to Budva, where are many addicted people of mesmerizing landscapes. As far as it concerns me, I had a really nice experience on that boat, because I met two beautiful and talented Russian girls. The beach is full of unpleasant stones, but everything is going to be alright, as long as you have special shoes. You should also have in your beach bag some food and magazines, because boredom therefore can arise. Expect to stay there from morning until late afternoon! All in all, Montenegro can give you another Read more
Another advantage of spending the holiday in Budva is that you can make a city break in Dubrovnik, Croatia. As the weather was a bit cloudy, my parents and I decided to visit Dubrovnik. I strongly believe that the best memories are made spontaneously. That’s why, we got lost on a narrow street, while we were searching the right way to Dubrovnik, but the view was indescribable. We had found a magical place, near the Lady of the Rocks and two nice guys, who explained that we have to take the ferryboat. The price for one way is 5 euros. We were again surrounded by overwhelming landscapes, Read more
