Beach Body, Island in Crete, orange swimsuit, jolidon

There are plenty day trips  when choosing Crete. For example, we decided to go to an island off the coast of Crete, called Spinalonga. Today Spinalonga is mainly known as the Leper Island, because  it was a leper colony from 1903 until 1957.  The boats depart regularly from Agios Nikolaos, Elounda and Plaka and the ticket costs 10 euros.

Unfortunately, our expectations were higher than what we found there, but it might have been interesting for those who were passionate about history. Anyway, we enjoyed the long ride Read more

Beach near Rome

What else is great about going to Rome besides discovering the history and tasting the great Italian food? Well, the fact that Rome is very close to the seaside and it  is nothing but great to dip your toes in the sand. After several discussions with my friend, we decided to take the train from Termini to Santa Marinella beach. We came to that decision mainly due to the easiness of getting there, be Read more

Piazza Navona, Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II, Roma Basilica di Santa Maria in AraCoeli, Isola, The Pantheon,  Traian Column, Quirinale,  Marcello Theater are few of the places that made my third day in Rome, therefore I discovered more of Rome.

I must say that Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II and The Pantheon were two of the most outstanding tourist attractions that definitely caught my eyes. A vaporous orange-ish playsuit from H&M  gave me the energy to conquer Rome. Let’s discover more of Rome with the following photos!

I’ve been busy as a bee, but that didn’t discourage me to continue my travel diary to Rome. What is Rome without visiting Vatican? Well…almost nothing because you will be highly fascinated by this city.  I must emphasize that the effort to get there is huge, but worthy and you need at least half of the day for that. We queued for 2 hours to see ‘Basilica de San Pedro‘ , but I swear that the first impression was overwhelming.

When in Rome…

Have you seen that romantic movie ‘ When in Rome’? Unfortunately, I didn’t go there to live such a story, considering the absence of my boyfriend, but to discover this beautiful capital being accompanied by my Polish friend.

When I travel abroad, I usually try to get to know the overall and then I start digging into specific areas. Therefore, the same I did with Rome.  Even though we arrived late, that didn’t  stop us to explore the antique capital.

1st stop: Colosseum. We took the metro to Colosseum, where we were overwhelmed of its immensity once we got there. Obviously, the Morrocans couldn’t from there by selling different cheap souvenirs, including selfie sticks.

2nd stop Then, we went by foot beyond the Tiber to Trastevere, a charming Read more

Mamma mia…Pizza…Pasta…Gelato…Moda

I am finally done with exams and I can do what I like the most: TRAVELLING. I opted for Rome this time,  due to the late summer in Denmark.  So, in less than 1 week I am going to taste the Italian flavour, but before that I want you to be aware of some essentials, when travelling.

I prefer to travel light and take strictly the necessary things with me, instead of carrying heavy luggages and being worried that I have to pay fees for extra kilos. I have a 16 years experience in travelling and along with that, I learnt few lessons:

  1. PLAN the trip. I know that being spontaneous might be the cherry on top of a trip, but sometimes it can turn into frustration, especially when you don’t know how to take advantage of it. Before getting there, establish some clear tourist attractions and research about surroundings.
  2. PACK light. You have to learn how to pack light. Decide several outfits for each day and take items that can be easily mix’n’ matched. Ah, and comfortable shoes are more than vital! I am sure you will have a consistent shopping experience, but that depends on the destination.
  3. EAT. Imagine that feeling of hunger, desperation Read more
benefits of going to gym

vre

As many of you have probably noticed, I became a gym freak. I never thought that I could transform into that kind of person, who keeps talking about gym or health over and over again, but here I am. I was more or less surrounded by this kind of people, so I had to start from somewhere and moreover, I don’t like to see a pretty girl without any muscles.

Firstly, I went to zumba classes because a friend of mine is the instructor. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Martina-Mitseva-Zumba/1540221812892948?fref=ts

Everything began in February, because I fell in love with the people and place, especially that was 7 minutes away from home. So, I made an unlimited membership to Fit & Sund (http://www.fitogsund.dk/ ) and that’s how the fun started. I joined Body combat, which is program inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. Besides these, I went to Core Attack, which is mainly for abs and trying to exercise on my own with dumbbells. Then, I mustered the courage to try Body Pump, the program for the toughest ones and I’ve Read more

greg events in denmark, what is happening in denmark, color run aarhus, color run denmark

Color Run Aarhus wasn’t my first experience with this non-toxic colored powder.  In fact, I had been through this before, but this time was twice crazier. Why crazier? In general, because of the people and the weather conditions. Yeah, living in Denmark always comes down to weather, when finding excuses or describing situations.

Since the first race in 2012, The Color Run exploded across the globe. From more than 50 events and 600,000 participants in 2012 to over 100 events and more than 1 million participants in 2014. However, I wanted to join this event, as soon as I’ve heard about it. I’ve tried to convince more people from Horsens, in order to go as a team and obtain a good discount as well. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen because of different priorities and mainly the discouraging weather. When I started to have second thoughts of selling my ticked, I finally convinced a friend to join me and to run for 5 km.  Besides, worrying about parking place and arriving late, everything went great. As soon as we got there, Read more

After spending 2 weeks again in my home country with my beloved ones and FINALLY deciding which smartphone to purchase ( it took me 5 months to figure out that HTC Desire EYE is the one for me) , my parents  and I went on a trip to an unexplored country: Sweden. We or better said I started off on the wrong foot by breaking 2 pretty valuable Swedish kronas notes . Getting lost, being additionally charged for food that we didn’t order, sharing Romanian delicatessen with hotel’s receptionists at 2 am are some of the adventures we ran into. Oh, we booked one night at an amazing boat hotel Read more

Inspiration hit me, so I thought that this would be the right time to show some signs that I am still alive. In fact, I am more than alive because I am preparing a collaboration with Vero Moda, which came like a big achievement for today, so my celebration is by writing a post on the blog.

I don’t have much to talk about my outfit, excepting the thing that I am not sure about this flower-ish Mango skirt, which is too short for me..and for my age. I started to be more into large-short or over knee skirts, because it doesn’t always mean that a tight skirt makes you sexier. The less, the better!

Hello, mid-March! If you excuse me, I’ll go back in time,  to the cold season. So, take a cup of tea, which will warm your hands while going through these pictures mostly taken in Poiana Brasov, where my boyfriend and I had an adventurous city break. After numerous phone calls to different hotels, we decided on Hotel Ruia, because it was the only one close, with jacuzzi and not very pricey. We were extremely excited about skiing in Poiana Brasov, mainly because it’s considered to be  the best place for winter sports and I never been there.  Shame on me! I must outline that I was more than impressed of what Poiana Brasov can offer and now I understand why there were so many foreigners. We were highly excited for skiing, especially that I haven’t practised it for 7 years. I was last time skiing in Villach, Austria.

Anyways, it was a challenge both for me and my boyfriend, to whom I am very thankful for his unlimited patience.

What happened on the ski slope is pure history. Do you know that motivational saying ‘ Fall 7 times, stand up 8’? That’s exactly what I did there, until Read more
