Sunday is for throwing back the spellbinding memories from our Cretan holiday.

Let’s start with some tricks and tips when choosing Greece in October.

Our accommodation, Residence Villas http://www.booking.com/hotel/gr/residence-villas.ro.html was situated in the north-east of Crete, in Stalis and is  30 kilometres east of Heraklion, 3 kilometres after Hersonissos. We chose it due to the location, food and all the good reviews. It took only 1 minute to get  to the beach , including the center of the city and 5 minutes to the bus stop.

Our first day seemed to be cloudy and rainy, so that was our chance to go for a short analysis of the city. Happily, the fancy bars and restaurants embraced us with a large variety of food and cocktails along with the senior tourists, mainly from UK and Germany.
