Another advantage of spending the holiday in Budva is that you can make a city break in Dubrovnik, Croatia. As the weather was a bit cloudy, my parents and I decided to visit Dubrovnik. I strongly believe that the best memories are made spontaneously. That’s why, we got lost on a narrow street, while we were searching the right way to Dubrovnik, but the view was indescribable. We had found a magical place, near the Lady of the Rocks and two nice guys, who explained that we have to take the ferryboat. The price for one way is 5 euros. We were again surrounded by overwhelming landscapes, when we got there because the sea was accompanying us.

The main attraction in Dubrovnik is the old town and there are many parking places around it,  but for 4 euros/hour or better pay less in kuna. Then,  in order to step back in time, take the infinite and exhausting stairs to the old town, which is busy of tourists. There are many the outstanding medieval, Renaissance and Baroque monuments within the magnificent fortifications and the monumental gates to the city are the Town Hall, which date from the 11th century. The boutiques and restaurants are quite expensive, being frequented by tourists, but we were lucky to find Tesoro Restaurant, where I ordered delicious seafood and later, ice-cream. The waiters and citizens are speaking English quite well, because the international language in Montenegro is Russian and I was sincerely tired of it.
